Hyderabad Poses Challenge to Bengaluru’s IT Hub Status: Former Infosys CEO

In a surprising turn of events, former Infosys CEO and Chairman of Manipal Global Education, TV Mohandas Pai, suggested on Wednesday that Hyderabad could potentially replace Bengaluru as the “Information Technology capital of India.” Pai, in his statement, criticized the successive governments of Karnataka for their ‘neglect’ and warned the Karnataka government about the impending shift.

Expressing his concerns on a social media platform, Pai hoped for a more proactive approach from the Karnataka government, particularly under the leadership of Siddaramaiah from the Congress party.

BJP Transformed India Into an “Unemployed Nation,” Says KTR

Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday criticized the BJP for turning India into an “unemployed nation.”
He said that the BJP State president, G Kishan Reddy, who has failed to contribute to the development of Telangana, lacks the moral authority to discuss job appointments.

Rama Rao pointed out that India is witnessing the highest unemployment rate in 45 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He challenged Kishan Reddy to name a state government that has filled more job vacancies than Telangana in the past decade.

Rama Rao dared Kishan Reddy to make the BJP-led Central government release a “white paper” on the number of jobs filled over the last ten years and the existing vacancies in various departments. He stated that more than 16 lakh Central government jobs are lying vacant.

The Minister said that despite the Centre canceling projects like the Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) and refraining from establishing Bayyaram Steel factory and other provisions promised under Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, the Telangana government succeeded in attracting investments in the private sector and creating over 24 lakh jobs in key sectors like IT, manufacturing, pharma and others.

Telangana: KTR urges people to say no to “Scamgress”

Telangana: Telangana’s BRS working president KTR has accused the Congress party of pumping crores of rupees into the state to purchase votes in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Sharing a news report about the seizure of around Rs 42 crore from a BJP corporator’s residence during Income Tax raids in Karnataka, KTR took to social media to call out the Congress party.

He accused the “intellectually bankrupt” Congress of pumping crores of rupees from Karnataka to purchase votes in Telangana, which is set to go to polls on December 3.

“Their PCC Cheap was the one who was caught on camera bribing in Vote for Note scam and now since this criminal is now leading the pack of Thugs, this was very much expected. Let’s say No to ‘Scamgress’ in TS,” he tweeted.

KTR’s comments come at a time when the Congress party is trying to make inroads in Telangana. The party has recently appointed A. Revanth Reddy as its state president. Reddy, a former TDP leader, is known for his aggressive style of politics.

The Telangana Assembly elections are expected to be a close contest between the ruling BRS and the BJP. The Congress party is hoping to play the role of a kingmaker in the elections.
