Hyderabad IT Employees to Hold Special Event in Support of Chandrababu on October 29

Hyderabad: IT employees in Hyderabad have launched another special program in support of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. The event will be held on October 29 at Gachibowli Maidan to mark the 25th anniversary of the construction of Cyber Towers in Madapur, which is credited with playing a key role in the development of Hyderabad as a global IT hub.

The event has been organized by a group of IT employees who have created a special website, iamwithcbn.co, to allow people to register their names and show their support for Naidu. The organizers have appealed to all IT employees and established fans in various fields who are grateful to Naidu for his contributions to Hyderabad to attend the event.

This is the latest in a series of protests and rallies that have been held by IT employees in Hyderabad in support of Naidu, who was arrested in September in connection with an alleged skill development scam. The employees believe that Naidu is being politically targeted by the ruling YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh and that the charges against him are fabricated.

The upcoming event at Gachibowli Maidan is expected to be a major show of support for Naidu from the IT community in Hyderabad. It is also seen as a challenge to the YSRCP government, which has been accused of suppressing dissent and political opposition.

BRS Confident of Hat-trick Win in Telangana Assembly Elections

Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Friday called upon the BRS leaders and cadre to gear up to make the party win the consecutive third assembly election. He expressed confidence that the people would stand with the BRS to back its welfare schemes and development programmes.

Jagadish Reddy said that the BRS government’s welfare schemes, particularly those meant for farmers, were role models for the entire country. He also praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for making Telangana top in welfare and development in the country within a short span of time.

He said that Telangana had witnessed unprecedented development in the last nine years, which was more than what was achieved in the six decades of Congress rule. Before 2014, getting Rs 1 lakh for development in a village was a big task, but now villages were getting crores of rupees.

Jagadish Reddy said that the BRS government had opened up a new tradition of selecting the beneficiaries of welfare schemes irrespective of their political affiliation. Earlier, the ruling party cadre was also accorded priority in the selection of the beneficiaries, he reminded.

He asked the party cadre to mingle with the people and explain the welfare schemes of the BRS government to them. He also urged the BRS leaders to put aside their differences, if any, and strive for the victory of the party candidates in the ensuing elections.
