The police are also regularly checking vehicles, patrolling the streets, and keeping an eye on places like hotels and bus stands.

Hyderabad Man Beaten in Medchal

35-Year-Old Man Beaten to Death in Medchal, Hyderabad

Manish, a 35-year-old man from Bihar who worked at a private company in Hyderabad, was allegedly beaten to death by unknown assailants near a restaurant in Medchal on Sunday night.

Police reports indicate that Manish was attacked with stones before being killed. His body was found near the restaurant and transferred for autopsy.

The motive for the attack remains unknown. Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.

Hyderabad Police Crack Down on Flesh Trade Ring, Rescue Women, and Apprehend Organizers

In a significant operation, the Gudimalkapur police in Hyderabad successfully dismantled a flesh trade racket operating out of a residential area in Gudimalkapur. Fake Currency Racket Busted in Hanamkonda, Rs 4 Lakh Counterfeit Notes Seized

Hanamkonda, November 2:  In a joint operation, the Kakatiya University Campus police and Task Force police busted a counterfeit currency ring and arrested four persons on Thursday. The suspects were seized with Rs 4 lakh counterfeit notes in 500 denominations, Rs 85,000 in genuine Rs 500 notes, two vehicles, and material essential for making counterfeit currency.

The mastermind behind the racket was identified as Porika Raj Kumar from Ghanpur (Mulugu), who had a history of involvement in crime. He allegedly collaborated with Rajesh, Boora Srikanth, and Manthena Kavya to offer a commission to one Pathan from Nanded in exchange for finding potential clients interested in counterfeit currency. Raj Kumar claimed that he could provide counterfeit notes at double the face value.

Pathan then dispatched Omkar Viswanatha Rao Boore, Kawal, and Sambaji to Hanamkonda to purchase counterfeit currency from Raj Kumar. They had provided him with Rs 2 lakh in genuine cash, in exchange for which Raj Kumar provided them with black-coloured notes, cut to the size of Rs 500 notes. Raj Kumar instructed them that the notes could be converted into genuine Rs 500 notes by washing them in a hypo solution.

However, the police authorities apprehended Raj Kumar at Chintagattu Bridge while he was delivering the counterfeit currency to the other three suspects. The other three too were nabbed later, while efforts are on to arrest the other three absconding suspects.

Warangal Police Commissioner Ambar Kishore Jha commended the KUC police and Task Force personnel for their efforts in apprehending the suspects.

Hyderabad: Man Murders Wife, Then Commits Suicide

P Raju, a 45-year-old driver, and his wife T Santosha had been married for 17 years. They lived with their two children in the Sairam Nagar colony of Nagole.

On Monday night, Raju and Santosha had a quarrel over some family issue. During the quarrel, Raju slit Santosha’s throat with a knife and then hit her on the head with a wooden log. Santosha died on the spot.

After killing his wife, Raju went to the house of his relatives in Saroornagar and jumped from the fourth floor of an apartment building, committing suicide.

The police have registered two cases in this regard and are investigating the matter.
