Hyderabad Police Rescue Three Women in Madhapur Brothel Raid
The Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) conducted a successful raid on a brothel house in Madhapur on Monday night, rescuing three women.
Acting on a tip-off, the SOT team apprehended Nidhi, the organizer of the prostitution ring operating from an apartment building in Madhapur. They also seized cash and mobile phones as evidence.
Hyderabad Police Crack Down on Flesh Trade Ring, Rescue Women, and Apprehend Organizers
In a significant operation, the Gudimalkapur police in Hyderabad successfully dismantled a flesh trade racket operating out of a residential area in Gudimalkapur. The crackdown, carried out on Wednesday, led to the apprehension of Zakia Athuman (25), identified as the mastermind behind the illicit enterprise, along with three clients. Additionally, two women from different states, who were victims of the flesh trade, were rescued from the premises.
According to police reports, the suspects were clandestinely running the flesh trade from a rented flat, luring women under the pretext of job opportunities.
Acting on a tip-off, law enforcement officers conducted a raid, resulting in the arrest of the perpetrators and the subsequent rescue of the trafficked women. The rescued individuals have been transferred to a designated rescue home for necessary rehabilitation and support.
Crocodile Rescued from Stagnant Pool in Hanamkonda
A crocodile was rescued from a pool of stagnant water in Hanamkonda, Telangana, on Friday. The crocodile was spotted by locals near a residential area, and the Forest department was immediately alerted.
A team of forest staff and veterinary experts rushed to the site and rescued the crocodile after a nearly three-hour operation. The crocodile was then shifted to a forest area and released into Pakal Lake, about 50 km from Warangal.
Forest officials are still unsure how the crocodile ended up in the pool of stagnant water, but they believe it may have strayed from a nearby water body. Residents of a colony near the Kakatiya Zoo Park have also claimed to have spotted a crocodile in a pond in the Padmakashigutta area in the past, but the crocodile could not be traced.
The residents of Hanamkonda have expressed their gratitude to the forest staff for rescuing the crocodile and releasing it back into its natural habitat.
