HYDERABAD: A social worker and woman candidate contesting from the Nampally assembly constituency was allegedly abused and assaulted by a group of persons during her campaign at Asifnagar.

The victim, a resident of Tolichowki, was in Muradnagar to meet with some people when she was attacked by a group of men. She was confined to a house until the police rescued her.

A case under Sections 342, 354,356,379,506, and 323 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused persons.

The police are investigating.

Jubilee Hills MLA’s PA Allegedly Assaults Man

Hyderabad, India – A video circulating on social media shows a man being brutally beaten by Bhaskar, the personal assistant of Jubilee Hills legislator Maganti Gopinath. The victim, who is bleeding severely, begs not to be thrashed.
