Police in Cyberabad arrested K Ramesh (22), a resident of Moosapet originally from Siddipet district, on Tuesday night in Nacharam. They seized 320 grams of ganja and a motorbike from him.
Investigators believe Ramesh was obtaining ganja from someone named Raju in Cheriyal and then selling it to customers within Hyderabad.
Cyberabad Police arrested five people on Sunday night for possessing drugs. During raids conducted in Rajendranagar and Balkampet, officers seized 4.4 kilograms of ganja and LSD blots. Cases have been filed against the suspects.

Hyderabad: In a surprising turn of events, two policemen from the Andhra Pradesh Special Police were apprehended by the Balanagar Special Operations Team (SOT) on Friday morning while allegedly transporting 22 kg of Ganja in the Bachupally area on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The arrested individuals have been identified as a head constable and a constable from the third battalion of the Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP). The Balanagar SOT acted upon received information and intercepted a car, only to discover the two policemen involved in the illegal transportation of narcotics.
According to preliminary investigations, it was revealed that the detained policemen were on leave, citing health reasons. However, instead of resting and recovering, they allegedly chose to engage in the illicit trade of Ganja, aiming to make some extra money.
The incident has raised concerns within the police department, as the very individuals entrusted with upholding the law were found violating it. Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter to ascertain the full extent of the involvement of the arrested policemen in the drug trade.
The police have seized 22 kg of Ganja packed in 11 packets from the possession of the arrested constables. The duo is likely to face charges related to the possession and transportation of illegal substances.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining the integrity of law enforcement agencies and ensuring stringent measures to prevent such instances in the future.
