Dr. Lavudya Lachu, the Superintendent of the Government General Hospital in Nalgonda, was apprehended by officials from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hyderabad. The ACB caught him in the act of accepting a bribe amounting to Rs. 3 lakhs from a complainant named Rapolu Venkanna. This unlawful transaction took place at Dr. Lachu’s residence.

The ACB, acting on information or perhaps a complaint, swiftly moved to arrest Dr. Lachu. They conducted a raid at his home and apprehended him red-handed while he was accepting the bribe from Mr. Venkanna. The authorities managed to recover the entire amount of Rs. 3 lakhs during the operation.

The young child had ventured out to play, but as the evening wore on, his absence became a cause for concern for his parents. Despite their frantic search efforts, they couldn’t locate him. Worried, they alerted the authorities, leading to a police investigation into the disappearance.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, on Wednesday morning, the child’s lifeless body was found in a sump located just meters away from his home. The police promptly retrieved the body and transported it to the OGH mortuary.

Hyderabad man arrested for allegedly cheating hundreds on promise of flats

C Venkata Subrahmanyam, director of M S Bhuvanteza Infra Projects Private Limited, was arrested by Hyderabad police on Monday for allegedly cheating nearly 400 people by promising to sell them flats in his projects. He is accused of collecting a total of Rs. 2.29 crores from them.

According to the police, Subrahmanyam collected the money on the pretext of selling flats in his projects, but failed to deliver on his promises. The Economic Offences Wing Team – IV of Hyderabad Detective Department registered a case against him based on a complaint and arrested him.

He managed to chase the dogs away, but when they reached the hospital, the doctors declared the child as brought dead. The RGI Airport police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway. It’s a heartbreaking incident that highlights the dangers posed by stray dogs in the area.

Hyderabad: Three Killed in Two Separate Accidents

Moinabad, November 25: Three persons were killed in two separate accidents at Moinabad in Ranga Reddy district since Friday night.

In the first accident, two persons were killed when a Toofan vehicle overturned at Aziznagar on Saturday morning. The deceased have been identified as Lakshman Reddy, a BRS party leader, and the driver of the vehicle. According to the police, Reddy and a few others were on their way to the city when the vehicle overturned at Aziznagar Road. Reddy, who was seated in the front row, and the driver sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot. The bodies were shifted to the mortuary for postmortem examination.
