BJP-Congress Secret Deal Exposed?

BJP national general secretary and party Karimnagar candidate for the upcoming assembly polls, Bandi Sanjay, has claimed that Congress has asked its supporters and cadres not to vote for BRS and support BJP candidate in Karimnagar.

Sanjay made this claim during an interview with a news channel. He said, “We don’t mind if you do not vote for a Congress candidate. But do not vote for BRS. What does it mean? Indirectly they are asking their men to support BJP.”

A video of Sanjay making this claim has gone viral on social media. Many people have raised questions about the credibility of the BJP and Congress.

One netizen, Nayini Anurag Reddy, posted on social media, “Karimnagar BJP candidate and former T-BJP head, Bandi Sanjay, explicitly states that Congress is internally supporting him. Congress has compromised and surrendered to BJP in key places. They have fielded weak candidates against Raja Singh, Arvind, Bandi Sanjay and many.”

Another netizen, Arjun, posted, “Congress is headed by a former RSS guy turning it into CongRSS. A TDP apprentice. So I’m not surprised by his statement.”

The BJP and Congress have been accused of having a secret understanding for many years. This claim by Sanjay has further fueled these allegations.

It is important to note that Sanjay’s claim has not been verified. The Congress has denied any such understanding with the BJP.

Only time will tell if there is any truth to Sanjay’s claim. However, it has certainly raised eyebrows and added another layer of intrigue to the upcoming assembly polls in Telangana.

Telangana IT Minister accuses PM Modi of misleading public

Telangana’s IT Minister KT Rama Rao has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of misleading the public with his promise to form a committee to empower the Madiga community, a Scheduled Caste group in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Rama Rao also asserted that the BJP is not a serious contender in the upcoming Telangana assembly elections.

Rama Rao’s criticism comes in response to Modi’s announcement at a rally organized by the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) that a committee would be formed to explore ways to empower the Madiga community. However, Rama Rao contends that the formation of yet another committee is a delaying tactic and that the government should simply implement the resolution passed by the Telangana Assembly in favor of categorizing Scheduled Castes.

Rama Rao further dismissed the BJP’s prospects in the upcoming Telangana elections, stating that the party is not a significant player in the state. His comments are likely to intensify the political rivalry between the ruling BRS party and the BJP ahead of the polls.

The issue of categorizing Scheduled Castes has been a long-standing demand of the Madiga community. The Telangana Assembly had passed a unanimous resolution in support of categorization, and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had also submitted a memorandum to PM Modi on the matter. However, the central government has so far not taken any concrete action on the issue.

Rama Rao’s accusations and the ongoing political debate surrounding the issue of categorizing Scheduled Castes highlight the complex social and political dynamics in Telangana. The resolution of this issue is likely to have a significant impact on the state’s Scheduled Caste population.

Telangana Election 2023: BRS Predicted to Win With 72-75 Seats

A survey by Janta Ka Mood Political Research and Consultancy has found that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is likely to win the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections with 72 to 75 seats, while the Congress is expected to win 31 to 36 seats. The AIMIM and BJP are projected to win 6 to 7 seats and 4 to 6 seats respectively.

The survey found that the BRS is leading in terms of vote share with 41 percent, followed by the Congress with 34 percent, the BJP with 14 percent, and the AIMIM with 3 percent.

The report also found that there are 18 Assembly seats where there could be very close contests between the BRS, BJP, and Congress.

The report attributed the BRS‘ popularity to the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, as well as the party’s popular schemes for farmers, youth, women, and other groups.

The report also found that the Congress is bogged down by internal rivalry and lacks a strong face to match Chandrashekhar Rao’s popularity.

The BJP, meanwhile, is suffering from groupism and internal rivalry between groups led by Bandi Sanjay and G Kishan Reddy.

Overall, the survey suggests that the BRS is well-positioned to win the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections.

BJP Transformed India Into an “Unemployed Nation,” Says KTR

Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday criticized the BJP for turning India into an “unemployed nation.”
He said that the BJP State president, G Kishan Reddy, who has failed to contribute to the development of Telangana, lacks the moral authority to discuss job appointments.

Rama Rao pointed out that India is witnessing the highest unemployment rate in 45 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He challenged Kishan Reddy to name a state government that has filled more job vacancies than Telangana in the past decade.

Rama Rao dared Kishan Reddy to make the BJP-led Central government release a “white paper” on the number of jobs filled over the last ten years and the existing vacancies in various departments. He stated that more than 16 lakh Central government jobs are lying vacant.

The Minister said that despite the Centre canceling projects like the Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) and refraining from establishing Bayyaram Steel factory and other provisions promised under Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, the Telangana government succeeded in attracting investments in the private sector and creating over 24 lakh jobs in key sectors like IT, manufacturing, pharma and others.

Telangana Opinion Poll: BRS Leading with Comfortable Margin

Telangana Opinion Poll: A recent opinion poll by the Sri Atmasakshi (SAS) Group has predicted that the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is all set to secure a comfortable victory in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections.

The survey says that the BRS is leading with a 42.5 percent vote share, while the Congress is likely to secure 36.5 percent and the BJP could get a 10.75 percent share.

This is the third survey conducted by the SAS Group in different time frames. The first survey was conducted from July 18 to August 17, followed by the second survey between August 21 and October 30. The third survey was conducted from October 2 to 28.

The survey was conducted in 110 Assembly constituencies by collecting 2,65,000 samples with 820 enumerators assigned to collect the samples. On an average, 2400 samples were collected from each constituency.

Compared to the 2018 results, the organisation’s survey noticed that there was a decline of 4.3 percent in BRS vote share. Yet, the BRS was leading ahead of the Congress and BJP.

Ahead of the 2018 elections, the SAS group had predicted that BRS (then TRS) would win 85 to 89 seats and the party had won 88 seats. Similarly, it had said the Congress would secure 19 to 20 seats and the party won 19 seats. BJP was expected to win one seat and it won only one seat.

In the recent Karnataka elections too, the organisation’s survey had estimated that the BJP would win 83 to 84 seats and it ended up winning 66 seats. Similarly, the Congress was expected to win 117 to 124 seats and it won 135 seats. The JD (S) was predicted to win 23 to 30 seats and ended up winning 19 seats.

The SAS Group is known for its near accurate predictions and its survey on the Telangana Assembly elections is likely to be closely watched by all political parties.

Komatireddy Brothers’ Secret Pact with Congress-BJP Exposed, Says Harish Rao

Finance Minister T Harish Rao has accused the Komatireddy brothers of having a secret pact with the Congress-BJP to defeat the BRS in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections. He said that the return of Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy to the Congress was proof of this pact.

Harish Rao pointed out that Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who is still in the Congress, had worked for the victory of his brother Rajgopal Reddy when he contested on a BJP ticket in Munugode by-election. He said that neither the Congress nor the BJP took any action against the two brothers, which is clear evidence of their secret pact.

The Minister also alleged that the Congress and BJP are working together to damage the credibility of the BRS and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He said that the two parties have joined hands in New Delhi to defeat ‘Telangana bidda’ KCR.

Harish Rao also claimed that BJP State president G Kishan Reddy and TPCC president A Revanth Reddy are talking to each other every day over phone to set a collective agenda to defeat the BRS. He said that Kishan Reddy would send many BJP leaders into the Congress ahead of the elections.

The Minister urged the people of Telangana to be aware of the Congress-BJP pact and vote for the BRS in the upcoming elections.

Big Surprise: Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy Quits BJP

Hyderabad: In a surprising twist for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) just before the State assembly election, former Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy announced on Wednesday that he’s saying goodbye to the party.

In his resignation letter, Rajgopal Reddy explained, “There’s strong opposition to the current government in the State, and it’s clear that people want a change. They want to free Telangana from the rule of the KCR family. I believe my goals can be achieved in the next five weeks. As an alternative to the BJP, I’ve decided to align with the Congress and the people’s ideas. About a year and a half ago, the BJP seemed like a viable alternative to the ruling BRS in Telangana. But now, people are seeing the Congress as a better alternative to BRS. That’s why I’ve decided to follow the wishes of the people of Telangana. I’ve never been interested in positions; my focus has always been on the interests of Telangana.”

There were rumors that he might return to the Congress after his loss in the Munugode by-poll. Reportedly, Rajgopal Reddy faced pressure from his older brother, Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, to rejoin the Congress.”

Singh was suspended from the BJP in August last year for his alleged derogatory comments on prophet Mohammed. He was arrested under the Preventive Detention Act, but was released on bail in November.

The BJP leadership revoked Singh’s suspension on Sunday, considering his explanation in response to the show cause notice served by the party earlier.

Singh will be contesting from the Goshamahal Assembly seat in the upcoming Telangana Legislative Assembly elections on November 30.
