Hyderabad: Wife is killed by husband due to suspected adultery

Hyderabad: On Sunday, a husband who suspected his wife of being unfaithful killed her at their Uppal home.

The victim Shiva Laxmi was married to a guy named Shiva Mohan Rao, and the two of them lived in Uppal, according to the police.

Mohan and his wife had a lot of arguments because he thought she was seeing someone else.

The couple argued on Sunday, and during their argument, an enraged Mohan Rao attacked and killed his wife.

E Naresh (33), a resident of Kothapet in Chaitanyapuri, died by suicide on Saturday. Police say marital issues may have contributed to the tragedy.

Naresh, who had been working in New Zealand since March 2023, returned to Hyderabad recently. Upon his return, he reportedly requested his wife Sirisha (married in 2020) to accompany him back to New Zealand. However, Sirisha disagreed, leading to arguments between the couple.

According to Chaitanyapuri police, Naresh fell into depression and tragically ended his life by hanging himself on Saturday morning. A case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing.

Tollywood Camera Assistant in Hyderabad Falls Victim of Alleged Marriage Scam

P. Nagarjuna Babu, a 35-year-old camera assistant working in Tollywood, reportedly became the target of a cunning scam. Babu befriended a woman producer during a film shoot.

According to police reports, Babu, trusting the woman, revealed personal details and even shared his bank credentials. Following the shoot’s completion, the woman, under the pretense of being divorced, invited Babu to her residence and proposed marriage.

The couple then allegedly held a secret wedding ceremony at a Chilkur temple. However, this is where the story takes a turn. The woman, after the marriage, began extracting money from Babu under various excuses, amassing a total of Rs. 18.7 lakh. Babu eventually grew suspicious and upon investigation, discovered the woman was not only already married twice but also had children.

Babu, outraged by the betrayal, filed a complaint at the Film Nagar police station. The authorities launched an investigation and reportedly found similar cases registered against the woman in Narsingi, Kukatpally, and Andhra Pradesh.

The 14-year-old, who had been clearly angry for the previous week, hung himself from his room’s ceiling fan when his roommate was away.

Hyderabad: On Thursday, a welfare residential school student in the ninth grade committed suicide at Nadergul in Adibatla.

Police added that he is believed to have killed himself because he was unhappy about his father’s poor health.

The police in Adibatla are looking into it.

A degree student committed suicide on a different occasion by hanging himself at his Nallakunta home. Family issues are said to be the cause.

The girl’s parents filed a complaint, prompting the Habeebnagar police to open a case and begin an investigation.

Hyderabad: Food Delivery Man Held with Rs 14.9 Lakh in Unaccounted Cash

Hyderabad: Three individuals were apprehended by Task Force officials in Hyderabad on Thursday night for carrying a total of Rs 35.9 lakh in unaccounted cash during separate incidents.

The first instance involved G. Nagarjuna (30), a food delivery executive from Serilingampally. Nagarjuna, originally from Andhra Pradesh, arrived in the city a month ago to work for a well-known food joint. Acting on instructions from his friend Mastan Vali, who is currently in Kuwait, Nagarjuna collected Rs 14.9 lakh in cash from a plywood store in Mangalhat. The money was intended for an unidentified realtor.

In a separate incident at MJ Market in Abid Road, Noor Mohammed, a scrap dealer from Habeebnagar, and Failsak Mallik, a computer hardware dealer from Mallepally, were caught travelling together on a motorcycle with Rs 21 lakh in unaccounted cash. Police reports indicate that the business partners were unable to provide a legitimate source for the cash or produce any relevant documentation.

Both individuals, along with the seized money, have been handed over to the local police for further investigation.

Holi Celebrations in Warangal End in Tragedy

Four people, including a 10-year-old boy, lost their lives in separate incidents on Monday while celebrating Holi or during the festivities’ aftermath in the erstwhile Warangal district.

Drowning Incident: A 10-year-old boy, Abburi Rithwik Reddy, from Ramannagudem village, went to Ganesh Lake to wash away colors after Holi celebrations. Tragically, he slipped and fell into the water. His friends, fearing for their safety, ran for help from the village. By the time help arrived, Rithwik had drowned. The police recovered his body and sent it for autopsy.

Motorcycle Accident: Two young men, Ummadi Umesh (22) and Ambadi Shrushanth (22), were on their way home after Holi celebrations when their motorcycle collided with a tree in Lakshmipuram village. They were declared dead at the scene.

Road Collision: Another motorcycle accident claimed the life of 30-year-old Botla Ramesh. He was traveling home from Holi festivities in Chelpur village when his bike collided with another vehicle. Ramesh died on impact.

TSRTC Hikes DA to 43.2%

TSRTC Finalizes 43.2% Dearness Allowance for Staff

Good news for TSRTC employees! As part of the recent wage revision, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has finalized a 43.2% Dearness Allowance (DA).

Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

Increased DA: The new DA will be 43.2%, calculated on the revised basic salary after the wage hike.
Merged DA: The existing 31.8% DA will be merged into the employees’ base pay, effectively contributing to the 43.2% DA.
HRA Revision: The recently revised House Rent Allowance (HRA) by the state government will also apply to TSRTC employees with the new salary structure, further boosting their take-home pay.

This news comes after initial concerns from employees about the lack of a significant salary increase following the revision.

Positive Developments for TSRTC Staff:

Cleared DA Arrears: Unlike state government employees who are still waiting on four DA installments, TSRTC employees have received their dues, including the announcement of seven previous DA arrears.

Union & Management Efforts: The consistent demands from labor unions representing TSRTC staff and the proactive efforts of TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar are credited with expediting the clearance of DA dues.

With all past dues settled, TSRTC employees in Telangana can now look forward to receiving their salaries reflecting the revised DA.

Fourteen-year-old Mohd Misbahuddin from Priya Colony Gudimalkapur was tragically killed in a road accident on Monday morning.

Misbahuddin had been to a mosque in Asifnagar for prayers and was traveling with his friend Mohammed Abdul Shaibaz on a motorbike when the incident occurred. Shaibaz was driving the vehicle on the PVNR Expressway when he lost control near Pillar No. 19, colliding with the divider.

Both Misbahuddin and Shaibaz were taken to Osmania Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, Misbahuddin succumbed to his injuries.

16-Year-Old Inter Student in Hyderabad Allegedly Takes Own Life

Sixteen-year-old P Jahnavi, an intermediate student residing in Meerpet’s SCB colony, was found dead by suicide on Sunday evening. Jahnavi, who had recently returned home from a hostel to prepare for exams, reportedly hanged herself inside her house.

According to the Meerpet sub-inspector, K Sudhakar, the family believes Jahnavi was being harassed by a boy named Yadav, which allegedly led to depression. The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.
