TSRTC Hikes DA to 43.2%

TSRTC Finalizes 43.2% Dearness Allowance for Staff

Good news for TSRTC employees! As part of the recent wage revision, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has finalized a 43.2% Dearness Allowance (DA).

Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

Increased DA: The new DA will be 43.2%, calculated on the revised basic salary after the wage hike.
Merged DA: The existing 31.8% DA will be merged into the employees’ base pay, effectively contributing to the 43.2% DA.
HRA Revision: The recently revised House Rent Allowance (HRA) by the state government will also apply to TSRTC employees with the new salary structure, further boosting their take-home pay.

This news comes after initial concerns from employees about the lack of a significant salary increase following the revision.

Positive Developments for TSRTC Staff:

Cleared DA Arrears: Unlike state government employees who are still waiting on four DA installments, TSRTC employees have received their dues, including the announcement of seven previous DA arrears.

Union & Management Efforts: The consistent demands from labor unions representing TSRTC staff and the proactive efforts of TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar are credited with expediting the clearance of DA dues.

With all past dues settled, TSRTC employees in Telangana can now look forward to receiving their salaries reflecting the revised DA.
