A 19-year-old from Warangal, Telangana, has been arrested for allegedly sending death threats to billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani. Vanaparthi was arrested after the Mumbai police traced the IP address of the emails to his computer. He was produced before a court and remanded to police custody till November 8.

The following day, another email was sent demanding more money with a line from the email saying ‘If the demands are not fulfilled, a death warrant will be issued’.
The police are investigating whether Vanaparthi acted alone or if he was part of a larger group. They are also trying to determine his motive for sending the threats.
In addition to Vanaparthi, a 21-year-old man from Gujarat has also been arrested for sending similar threats to Ambani. The man, identified as Rajveer Khant, is said to have sent the emails as a “joke.”
Both Vanaparthi and Khant have been charged with extortion and criminal intimidation. They are currently in police custody and awaiting trial.
Sirolu Mandal, October 24, 2023: Four people were injured on Monday night when a parked car collided with a bike from behind on the National Highway at Gujilitanda in Sirolu mandal.
