Interstate Gang Held with Heroin in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Special Operations Team (SOT) along with the Kushaiguda police arrested an interstate gang from Rajasthan on Tuesday on charges of drug peddling.

The police have reportedly seized 100 grams of heroin from the gang members. Police sources said that the suspects procured the psychotropic substance from drug peddlers operating in Rajasthan and sold it to consumers in Hyderabad at a higher price for easy money.

The police have registered a case against the gang members under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and are further investigating the matter to identify their other accomplices and suppliers.
