TSPSC’s Preparations and Guidelines for District Collectors

They want the centers to have CCTV cameras, especially in the chief superintendent’s room where confidential stuff will be handled. For candidate seating, they suggest having 24 or 48 candidates per room, except for the last room. They also want seats arranged in rows with about 2 square meters of space for each candidate.

Initially, the test was planned for November 2 and 3 but got moved to January 6 and 7, 2024, due to State Assembly elections. The TSPSC advertised 783 posts for Group-II recruitment, including roles like Assistant Section Officers, Mandal Panchayat Officers, Naib Tahsildars, and Prohibition and Excise Sub Inspectors.

About 5,51,943 candidates registered for the recruitment, and there are 700 candidates for each vacancy. The test consists of four papers covering General Studies, History, Polity, Society, Economy, Development, and Telangana Movement.

The test is objective type and available in English, Telugu, and Urdu, with a total of 600 marks. No interviews will be conducted, and the final selection depends on the marks in the written exam after certificate verification.
