Hyderabad: 37-Year-Old Man Dies by Suicide

Hyderabad: A 37-year-old man, Myakala Raju, died by suicide at his house in Moinabad on Saturday night. Raju had quarrelled with his wife a few weeks ago following which she went to her mother’s place. On Saturday afternoon, Raju went to the house of his in-laws and asked his wife to come along with him to their house. However, she turned down his request.

According to the Moinabad sub inspector, N Mothilal, Raju slipped into depression over the family developments and consumed bathroom cleaning acid. He was rushed to the hospital by local people where doctors pronounced him dead. A case is registered at Moinabad police station and investigation is going on.

Hyderabad woman dies by suicide after partner marries man

Hyderabad: An 18-year-old woman died by suicide in Hyderabad, India, after her partner married a man. The woman, identified as Yasmina Sultana, was from Assam and was working in a private firm in Hyderabad.

Police said that Sultana had been in a relationship with another woman for the past eight months. However, her partner recently got married to a man. This reportedly upset Sultana, and she died by suicide on Monday night by hanging from the ceiling of her room.

Sultana’s friend found her dead on Tuesday morning and alerted the police and her family members. Sultana’s elder sister lodged a police complaint, and a case is being investigated.

Chikkadpally Police Change Sections of Case to Cheating and Abetment to Suicide

Hyderabad: The Chikkadpally police have changed the sections of the case involving the death of Pravallika, a woman who was preparing for government job recruitment exams, to cheating and abetment to suicide.

Pravallika died by suicide at a hostel in Ashoknagar on Friday night after her relationship with her friend, Shivaram Rathod, went sour.

The police initially booked a case under Section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC. However, after statements from Pravallika’s mother, Vijaya, her brother Pranay, and two other friends, the police have added Sections 417, 420, and 306 of IPC to the case.

We have changed the sections of the case based on the statements of Pravallika’s family and friends, who have alleged that Shivaram Rathod cheated on her and abetted her suicide,” said DCP (central) M Venkateshwarlu.

The police are continuing their investigation into the case.

Hyderabad: Man Murders Wife, Then Commits Suicide

In a tragic incident, a man in Hyderabad murdered his wife and then committed suicide on Monday night.

P Raju, a 45-year-old driver, and his wife T Santosha had been married for 17 years. They lived with their two children in the Sairam Nagar colony of Nagole.

On Monday night, Raju and Santosha had a quarrel over some family issue. During the quarrel, Raju slit Santosha’s throat with a knife and then hit her on the head with a wooden log. Santosha died on the spot.

After killing his wife, Raju went to the house of his relatives in Saroornagar and jumped from the fourth floor of an apartment building, committing suicide.

The police have registered two cases in this regard and are investigating the matter.

Telangana government promises job calendar for government jobs

Karimnagar, Telangana: IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has said that the Telangana government will announce a job calendar for government jobs if the BRS party is re-elected in the next assembly election.

This will ensure that recruitment to government vacancies is done every year through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).

The Minister made this announcement while participating in a public meeting in Karimnagar on Wednesday. He also assured the unemployed youth that the government is committed to filling up all government job vacancies in the state.

Rama Rao said that the government has already filled up 1.30 lakh vacancies in the last nine and a half years, and the remaining vacancies will also be filled soon.

He also came down heavy on opposition parties for politicizing the recent death of Pravallika, a young woman who died by suicide in Hyderabad.

The TSPSC had recently rescheduled the Group II exams in light of the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for November. These postponed exams are now slated to take place on January 6 and 7, 2024, having initially been scheduled for November 2 and 3.

21-year-old woman commits suicide in Hyderabad after boyfriend’s death

Man in Mancherial attempts suicide due to family disputes

A man in Mancherial, India attempted to kill himself by consuming pesticide on Tuesday night. The man, Shataraji Mallesh, was reportedly depressed following family disputes between his son and daughter-in-law.

Mallesh was immediately shifted to a hospital in Luxettipet and then to Karimnagar. His condition is learned to be stable.
