Hyderabad Teen Dies After Scolding Over Mobile Use

Hyderabad: 16-Year-Old Boy Dies by Suicide After Parents Scold Him for Using Mobile Phone.

A 16-year-old boy from Vinay Nagar Colony in Hyderabad died by suicide on Monday after being scolded by his parents for spending too much time on his phone and not focusing on studies.

The boy had recently failed one subject in his SSC (Class 10) exams and was preparing to take the supplementary exams. On Saturday, he borrowed a smartphone from a friend and played video games on it.

His parents had earlier warned him several times about using the phone and watching TV instead of studying. On Sunday, his mother scolded him again for watching television. On Monday evening, his parents again reprimanded him for playing games on the phone.

Feeling upset after the scolding, the boy reportedly hanged himself from a ceiling fan in his house.

Telangana CM KCR orders rescheduling of Group 2 exams to November

Hyderabad, August 13: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) on Saturday ordered the rescheduling of the Group 2 exams to November. The exams were originally scheduled to be held on August 27 and 28, 2023.

KCR’s decision comes after appeals from Group 2 exam aspirants. The aspirants had argued that the exams were being held too close to the SSC exams, which are scheduled to be held on August 20 and 21, 2023. They had also argued that they did not have enough time to prepare for both exams.

KCR has agreed with the aspirants’ concerns. He has said that he does not want any aspirant to be at a disadvantage due to the timing of the exams. He has also said that he wants to ensure that all aspirants have a fair chance of success.

KCR has directed the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) to reschedule the Group 2 exams as soon as possible. He has also asked the TSPSC to ensure that the new dates are convenient for all aspirants.

The TSPSC is expected to announce the new dates for the Group 2 exams soon. In the meantime, aspirants can continue their preparations for the exams.

Aspirants welcome KCR’s decision

Aspirants have welcomed KCR’s decision to reschedule the Group 2 exams. They have said that the decision will give them more time to prepare for the exams and it will also reduce the stress of having to take two major exams so close together.

I am very happy with the decision of the Chief Minister,” said one aspirant. “This will give me more time to prepare for the exams and I will be able to give my best.”

Another aspirant said, “I am relieved that the exams have been rescheduled. I was worried that I would not be able to prepare for both the Group 2 and SSC exams on time.”

TSPSC to announce new dates soon

The TSPSC is expected to announce the new dates for the Group 2 exams soon. Aspirants can keep an eye on the TSPSC website and social media pages for updates.

In the meantime, aspirants should continue their preparations for the exams. They should make the most of the extra time they have and they should also stay up-to-date on the latest news about the rescheduling of the exams.
