The company noted a need to improve the urban Hyderabad narrative surrounding voter participation. The past three Assembly elections witnessed voter turnout ranging from 40-55% in the city’s 24 urban constituencies. In contrast, the state recorded a relatively higher turnout of 72-74%.

Rapido’s endeavor aims to bridge this gap by empowering citizens with convenient and accessible transportation to fulfill their civic duty. The company hopes this initiative will inspire a surge in voter turnout, ensuring that every voice is heard in shaping the city’s future.
