Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a 22-year-old ends life in Dundigal, Hyderabad, on Friday, reportedly due to love failure. The deceased, identified as Srikanth Kumar, was found hanging in his home.

Srikanth Kumar, from Kannaram village in the Kaudipalli mandal of Medak district, had been living with his family in Gandimaisamma, Dundigal. According to police officials, he had been visibly upset over a failed romantic relationship. His family discovered him hanging from the ceiling fan in his room.

The Dundigal police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances that led to this tragic event. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.

B-Tech Student Reportedly Takes Life After Loan App Harassment

Hyderabad: S. Manoj Kumar, a 20-year-old third-year B.Tech student at the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering in Dundigal, reportedly died by suicide on Tuesday. The cause of death is suspected to be harassment by loan app executives.

According to reports, Manoj had taken out a loan through a mobile application but was unable to keep up with the equated monthly installments (EMIs). This allegedly led loan app executives to pressure him by contacting his family, friends, and relatives from his phone’s contact list.

Unable to bear the harassment and humiliation, Manoj reportedly took his own life by hanging himself in his room. The police are currently investigating the incident, and the body has been sent to Osmania General Hospital for an autopsy.

This incident highlights the serious issue of predatory lending practices and the potential dangers individuals face when using unregulated loan apps. It underscores the need for increased awareness and stricter regulations to prevent such tragedies from happening again.

Tragic Accident Claims Life of Hyderabad Businessman on ORR

Hyderabad witnessed a heart-wrenching incident on Wednesday when a 27-year-old businessman, Mohd Sadiq, lost his life in a road accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at the Dundigal stretch. Sadiq, a resident of Tolichowki, was on his way when his vehicle suddenly came to a halt due to running out of fuel.

In an attempt to reach the nearest fuel station, Sadiq parked his vehicle on the side of the road. Unfortunately, as he was crossing the road, an unidentified vehicle traveling at high speed struck him, causing him severe injuries. Tragically, Sadiq succumbed to his injuries at the scene, according to Dundigal Inspector Y Ramakrishna.

The police were alerted about the incident, and they promptly arrived at the scene. Sadiq’s body was transported to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and the authorities have initiated efforts to identify and apprehend the driver responsible for this hit-and-run case.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident may have been driving recklessly and was unable to avoid colliding with Sadiq as he crossed the road. This tragic incident serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of road safety and responsible driving.
