Shocking Attempted Murder Case in Warangal

A shocking case has emerged in Warangal, where a government lecturer and a police constable were involved in the attempted murder of a young doctor. The crime, driven by an extramarital affair, has left the community stunned.

The Crime

On February 20th, Dr. Sumanth Reddy was brutally attacked on the Battupally bypass road while driving alone. A group of assailants chased his car, stopped him, and assaulted him with iron rods before fleeing. Locals alerted the police, who rushed Dr. Reddy to a hospital in Hyderabad, where he is currently fighting for his life.

The Shocking Truth

Investigations revealed that the attack was orchestrated by Dr. Reddy’s wife, Flora Maria, a government college lecturer. She had an affair with her gym trainer, Samuel, and when her husband confronted her, she pressured him for a divorce. When he refused, she planned his murder.

Flora Maria paid Samuel ₹1 lakh to execute the crime. Samuel then enlisted AR Head Constable Raj Kumar for assistance, promising him financial rewards. The constable took leave from work to help carry out the attack.

Police Investigation and Arrests

Using advanced technology, the police identified and arrested the three main accused:

  • Flora Maria – The mastermind, a government lecturer.
  • Samuel – The lover and gym trainer who carried out the attack.
  • Raj Kumar – The police constable who assisted in the crime.

The case has shocked the city, as those expected to uphold values—an educator and a law enforcer—were involved in a heinous crime. The accused have been sent to jail, and further investigations are underway.

The public demands strict punishment for the perpetrators to ensure justice for Dr. Sumanth Reddy.
