The nationwide JEE Main paper-1 (BE/BTech) witnessed participation from over 11.7 million registered candidates. Among these, only 23 individuals managed to secure the perfect score, and a whopping seven of them hailed from Telangana. 93-Year-Old Hyderabad Woman Completes PhD, Proving Age is No Barrier to Learning

Hyderabad, November 2, 2023: Revathi Thangavelu, a 93-year-old woman from Hyderabad, has completed her PhD in English, proving that age is no barrier to learning. She received her degree on Tuesday at the 83rd Convocation of Osmania University.

Revathi retired as a lecturer in 1990, but she did not stop there. She continued pursuing her studies and decided to do a PhD in English. She is currently working at Keyes Educational Society in Secunderabad.

Revathi’s story is an inspiration to all of us. It shows that it is never too late to learn and grow. She is a role model for all of us, and we are proud of her accomplishment.
