JEE Advanced 2025: Saksham Jindal Secures AIR 2

JEE Advanced 2025: Doctors’ Son Saksham Jindal Secures AIR 2, Shares Preparation Strategy

Hisar, Haryana | June 2, 2025

The results for the highly anticipated JEE Advanced 2025 were announced today, bringing joy and pride to thousands of students and their families across India. Among the top achievers, Saksham Jindal from Hisar, Haryana, has made headlines by securing the All India Rank (AIR) 2 with an impressive score of 332 out of 360. His remarkable feat is even more notable considering his family background—both his parents are doctors—yet Saksham chose to carve his own path in engineering.

A Family of Doctors, a Passion for Maths

Saksham Jindal’s father, Dr. Umesh Jindal, is a well-known pathologist in Hisar, and his mother, Anita Jindal, is also a doctor. Despite the family’s strong medical roots, Saksham’s heart was set on engineering. “Although my father is a pathologist and my mother too had studied medicine, it is my passion for Maths that led me towards engineering,” Saksham shared in an earlier interview with News18.

Academic Journey and JEE Main Success

Saksham’s journey to the top was paved with hard work, discipline, and unwavering focus. Before his JEE Advanced triumph, he had already made a mark by securing AIR 10 in JEE Main 2025, scoring a perfect 100 percentile with 295 out of 300 marks. This consistency across both national-level exams underlines his academic prowess and determination.

Preparation in Kota: The Hub of Engineering Aspirants

For the past two years, Saksham prepared for both JEE Main and Advanced while residing in Kota, Rajasthan—a city renowned for its coaching institutes and competitive environment. He credits his success to the structured guidance he received in Kota, along with the support of his teachers and peers.

Saksham Jindal’s Preparation Strategy

In an exclusive interaction after the results, Saksham shared insights into his preparation strategy:

  1. Consistent Study Routine
  • Saksham emphasized the importance of a disciplined daily schedule. “I studied for 6-8 hours every day, focusing on understanding concepts rather than rote memorization,” he said.
  1. Strong Foundation in Basics
  • He stressed building a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. “NCERT textbooks are crucial. I made sure my basics were clear before moving on to advanced problems.”
  1. Regular Practice and Mock Tests
  • Saksham solved numerous mock tests and previous years’ papers to familiarize himself with the exam pattern. “Analyzing my mistakes after each test helped me improve steadily,” he noted.
  1. Balanced Approach
  • While academics were a priority, Saksham also ensured he took breaks and pursued hobbies like chess and music to manage stress.
  1. Guidance and Mentorship
  • He acknowledged the role of his teachers and mentors in Kota, whose guidance helped him navigate challenging topics and stay motivated.

Future Plans: IIT Bombay Beckons

With his stellar performance, Saksham now aims to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science at IIT Bombay, one of the most prestigious engineering institutes in India. He is excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead and hopes to contribute to the field of technology and innovation.

Words of Advice for Future Aspirants

Saksham’s message to future JEE aspirants is clear: “Stay consistent, believe in yourself, and never hesitate to ask for help when needed. Success in JEE is not just about intelligence, but about perseverance and the right strategy.”
