KTR Reaches Out to RWAs, Urges Support for Car Symbol for Continued Development
Hyderabad: In a bid to garner support ahead of the upcoming elections, K.T. Rama Rao, working president of the BRS party, held a conference call with representatives of Residential Welfare Associations (RWAs) on Friday. During the call, he highlighted the progress achieved by the government in the last nine and a half years and implored the participants to vote for the car symbol to ensure the continuation of development.
Switching between English, Telugu, and Hindi, Rao, like any true Hyderabadi, spoke about the significant improvements in waste collection, which has increased from 3500 tonnes per day to 7500 tonnes per day. He also mentioned the successful implementation of round-the-clock electricity, the construction of flyovers and bridges as part of the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP), and the Hyderabad Metro as examples of the government’s progress.
Furthermore, Rao highlighted the government’s efforts in ensuring the safety and security of the city through the installation of CCTV cameras and the establishment of citizen-friendly policing initiatives such as Bharosa Centres. He also mentioned the TS-iPASS and TS-bPASS initiatives, aimed at streamlining the process of obtaining business and building permits, as well as the government’s commitment to preserving the heritage of Hyderabad.
My dream has always been to provide 24×7 water supply to the citizens of Hyderabad. Additionally, we are working towards expanding the metro lines from 70 km to 250 km. Flood management and sewerage management will also be key areas of focus in the next term,” said Rao. He further added that the Musi beautification project is set to be taken up, showcasing the government’s commitment to enhancing the city’s infrastructure and environment.
Assuring the RWAs of a stable government and capable leadership, Rao urged them to encourage everyone to exercise their right to vote on November 30. He emphasized the importance of voting for a government that prioritizes progress and development and stated that voting for the car symbol would be a vote for a better Hyderabad.
As the elections draw near, K.T. Rama Rao’s engagement with the RWAs demonstrates his dedication to reaching out to the community and addressing their concerns. With his emphasis on the government’s achievements and future plans, he aims to secure the support of the RWAs and ensure the continuation of the development and progress that Hyderabad has witnessed in recent years.
