Three-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in Stray Dog Attack in Sangareddy

Sangareddy: A three-year-old boy was seriously injured after being attacked by a pack of 14 stray dogs in Doulthabad town of Sangareddy on Wednesday.

According to officials, the child, identified as Abubakar, was standing alone on a street when the dogs suddenly surrounded and attacked him. CCTV footage showed the boy crying for help as the dogs mauled him. Within a minute, a woman rushed to the spot and managed to scare the dogs away, saving the child.

Abubakar suffered severe injuries in the attack and was immediately taken to the government hospital in Sangareddy for treatment. Doctors said he is receiving medical care and his condition is being monitored.

Eyewitnesses said the child might not have survived if help had arrived even a little later. The CCTV video of the incident later went viral on social media, causing widespread concern.

Following the incident, local residents demanded immediate action from authorities to control the growing stray dog population in Doulthabad. They claimed that stray dogs have attacked several people in the area earlier and warned that the problem poses a serious risk to public safety.
