Sangareddy Pharmaceutical Reactor Explosion Injures 15
Sangareddy: Fifteen workers were seriously injured in a reactor explosion at Amar Labs in IDA Bollaram on Saturday night. The injured were rushed to Mamatha Medical College Hospital, where three are in critical condition with over 60 percent burns.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but IDA Bollaram Police have registered a case. The losses due to the explosion have not yet been assessed.
This is the latest in a series of industrial accidents in India. In September, a fire at a chemical factory in Gujarat killed 13 people. And in August, a boiler explosion at a power plant in Uttar Pradesh killed 10 people.
These incidents highlight the need for stricter safety standards and enforcement in Indian industry.
