Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao announced that the state government will construct one lakh more double-bedroom houses in Hyderabad, in addition to the one lakh houses already constructed.

Of the one lakh houses already constructed, 60,000 have already been allotted to eligible beneficiaries.

The Minister said that he will take up the appeal to construct one lakh more double-bedroom houses with Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the benefit of the poor and homeless.

Rama Rao also announced that the Chief Minister has instructed the government to initiate measures for supplying water daily and round the clock in the city.

The Minister appealed to the people not to get carried away by the false promises made by the Congress and BJP. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s contributions to Telangana in the last nine years are a big zero, and so is his contribution to the construction of Amaravathi in Andhra Pradesh.
