Former CM KCR’s Successful Hip Replacement Surgery at Yashoda Hospitals

Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has successfully had surgery to replace his left hip at Yashoda Hospitals in Somajiguda, according to a hospital update on Friday evening.

The surgery was carried out by a team of experienced orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses. The bulletin mentioned that Rao tolerated the surgery well and remained stable throughout.

After the hip replacement procedure, Rao has been moved to a room where he is currently recovering. He is receiving standard post-operative care, which includes intravenous fluids, preventive antibiotics, and pain relief medication. The plan for activities like walking, physiotherapy, and nutrition will be decided after an assessment tomorrow. The usual recovery time for such surgeries is expected to be six to eight weeks, as stated in the health bulletin.
