Sitarampuram, Palakurti Constituency, Devaruppula Mandal, Janagam District, Telangana, India – A house burnt down after a lamp dedicated to God caught fire on Friday in Sitarampuram, Palakurti Constituency, Devaruppula Mandal, Janagam District.

According to the details of the locals on Saturday, Baswa Yakanna-Swapna of the village explained that on Friday, they went to work on the farm by lighting a lamp near the picture of God. The fire from the lamp caught fire and burnt clothes, rice, certificates, and 50 thousand rupees in cash.

The locals rushed to the spot and tried to extinguish the fire, but it was too late. The fire had already engulfed the entire house. The fire department was called, but they were unable to save the house.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, it is suspected that the fire may have started due to a short circuit in the lamp.
