UoH M.Tech grad lands record-breaking software engineer role
Chinmayee Mohapatra, a recent Master of Technology in Information Technology (M.Tech-IT) graduate from the School of Computer and Information Sciences (SCIS) at the University of Hyderabad (UoH), has achieved a remarkable feat. She secured a coveted software engineer position at ServiceNow during campus placements, with a salary package of Rs 47 lakh per annum. This impressive accomplishment marks a significant milestone for UoH, setting a new record for the highest placement offer in the university’s history.
Mohapatra’s success comes amidst reports of fewer campus placements at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) due to IT company workforce reductions. This news highlights UoH’s ability to equip its students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the competitive job market.
