Tragic Suicide at Hyderabad Junior College Sparks Concerns: Unraveling the Mystery Behind nimisha’s Untimely Death

Hyderabad: A 17-year-old girl named Nimisha, who recently started her first year at a private junior college in Pasumamla village near Hyderabad, took her own life in the hostel. Her roommates discovered her hanging in her room and promptly informed the hostel warden and college authorities.

Nimisha was studying MPC and was found hanging from the ceiling fan when her roommates returned. In the absence of her roommates, she had taken this drastic step. College staff rushed her to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared her dead. The reason behind her suicide is unknown, and there was no suicide note.

While her parents, teachers, and friends mentioned that Nimisha was good at her studies, student leaders who protested at the college claimed harassment by the college management as a possible reason. The local police in Hayathnagar are investigating the incident, exploring all possible angles, and assuring appropriate action.

Following the autopsy at Gandhi Hospital, Nimisha’s body was handed over to her family. This tragic event highlights the need to address mental health concerns and ensure the well-being of students.
