Tragedy at Jalpally Lake: Two Teenagers Drown

Two teenagers lost their lives in a drowning incident at Jalpally lake on Sunday. The victims, identified as Abdul Wahab (17) and Nahadi (19), were part of a five-member group who had gone to the lake for fishing.

According to police reports, Wahab and Nahadi ventured into the water and drowned. Tragically, none of the teenagers knew how to swim.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the GHMC Disaster Response Force (DRF) and the State DRF teams promptly reached the site and initiated search and rescue operations to locate the bodies.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of swimming in unsupervised and potentially risky areas. It’s crucial to be aware of your limitations and prioritize safety when around bodies of water.
