Karimnagar, Telangana: IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has said that the Telangana government will announce a job calendar for government jobs if the BRS party is re-elected in the next assembly election.

This will ensure that recruitment to government vacancies is done every year through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).

The Minister made this announcement while participating in a public meeting in Karimnagar on Wednesday. He also assured the unemployed youth that the government is committed to filling up all government job vacancies in the state.

Rama Rao said that the government has already filled up 1.30 lakh vacancies in the last nine and a half years, and the remaining vacancies will also be filled soon.

He also came down heavy on opposition parties for politicizing the recent death of Pravallika, a young woman who died by suicide in Hyderabad.

Rama Rao said that the government has assured all support to Pravallika’s family, including a job to her brother.

The Minister’s announcement of a job calendar for government jobs is a welcome move for the unemployed youth of Telangana. It will give them clarity on when to expect recruitment to government vacancies.
