Tragedy in Asifabad: Teacher Dies by Suicide, Reportedly Over Inability to Have Children

Kagaznagar, Asifabad — A government school teacher, Mididoddi Kavita (40), tragically died by suicide on Friday evening in Kagaznagar town. Police officials have stated that her death appears to be linked to long-term distress over not being able to conceive a child.

Kavita, who worked at a school in Koutala mandal, was a native of Kagaznagar and was well-known in the community not only for her dedication to teaching but also as a talented poet and dancer. Her sudden death has left her colleagues and community members in shock.

Her husband works in the private sector. According to her family, Kavita had been deeply upset for a significant period due to her inability to have children.

Based on a formal complaint from her parents, local police have registered a case and are conducting a full investigation into the matter.
