Rachakonda: Wine Shops Closed for Holi
Rachakonda Police Orders Closure of Wine Shops and Restrictions for Holi
The Rachakonda police issued orders for the closure of wine shops, toddy shops, and bars attached to restaurants in their commissionerate limits. This closure will be in effect from 6 pm on March 24th to 6 am on March 26th, coinciding with the Holi festival.
The police have warned of strict action against any shops found violating these closure orders.
In addition to the shop closures, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi has also announced restrictions for the Holi celebrations:
Throwing colors on public roads and in public places is prohibited.
Movement of two-wheelers and other vehicles in groups that disturb peace and order or cause inconvenience to others is also prohibited.
Violators of these restrictions will be prosecuted.
