Shocking Abuse at Long Drive Cars: Employees Held for Thrashing Ex-Colleagues

Hyderabad, India: Eight employees of Long Drive Cars have been arrested for allegedly subjecting 20 former employees, including women, to a horrific ordeal of physical assault and confinement. The incident, which occurred on February 14th, has sparked outrage and raised serious concerns about workplace violence and abuse of power.

According to police reports, the eight individuals, acting under the orders of the company director, locked the former employees in a room and subjected them to physical torture after they resigned from the company. Director K Hardeep Reddy, who is currently absconding, is facing charges under the SC, ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act for his alleged involvement in the incident. This act protects vulnerable communities from targeted violence and harassment.
