Hyderabad: GHMC to Host Indie Puppy Adoption Drive on August 17

Hyderabad’s Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is inviting animal lovers to an Indie Puppy Adoption Drive on August 17 at Jalagam Vengalrao Park, Banjara Hills. The event will run from 6 am to 10 am and aims to give stray puppies a chance at finding warm and loving homes.

As part of the initiative, GHMC will set up adoption spots at different locations in the city. People can walk in, meet the puppies, and take home a new furry friend.

To ensure the puppies’ well-being, each one will receive basic health checks and vaccinations before adoption. GHMC is urging residents to adopt instead of buying pets, hoping this will help reduce the stray dog population and give these animals the safe, caring lives they deserve.
