Freshworks CEO Treats Employees to Rajinikanth Movie Marathon
Girish Mathrubootham, the CEO of Freshworks, has once again shown his love for Rajinikanth by treating his employees to 2,200 tickets for the actor’s latest movie, “Jailer.”
Mathrubootham, who is a self-professed Rajinikanth fan, has been known to give his employees time off to watch the actor’s movies in the past. In 2016, he allowed employees to take the day off to watch “Kabali,” and in 2014, he did the same for “Lingaa” and “Kochadaiiyan.”
This time, Mathrubootham went even further by booking 2,200 tickets for “Jailer” across 7 screens. The tickets were exclusively for Freshworks employees, and they were all snapped up within minutes.
The gesture was well-received by employees, who were grateful for the opportunity to watch the movie with their colleagues. Many of them took to social media to express their appreciation for Mathrubootham.
One employee wrote, “I’m so grateful to Girish for treating us to tickets for ‘Jailer.’ It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the movies with my colleagues, and it was a lot of fun.”
Another employee said, “Girish is such a great boss. He always knows how to make us happy. Thanks for the tickets, Girish!”
Mathrubootham’s gesture is a reminder that great leaders are not just about making money. They are also about creating a positive work environment where employees feel valued and appreciated.
By treating his employees to tickets for “Jailer,” Mathrubootham has shown that he cares about their happiness and well-being. This is just one of the many ways that he is building a great company culture at Freshworks.
