Content Creator Dies by Suicide After Facing Cyberbullying
A 16-year-old content creator, Pranshu, died by suicide on November 21, 2023, after facing cyberbullying for his social media posts. Pranshu, who was known for their makeup and fashion content, had been sharing Reels of themselves in sarees and traditional jewelry.
Pranshu’s last post, on November 12, 2023, featured them in a red saree. The post attracted numerous homophobic comments from trolls who mocked Pranshu for their attire and gender expression.

Pranshu’s death has sparked outrage and calls for action against cyberbullying. Friends and family members have expressed their grief and called for an end to the harassment that LGBTQ+ individuals face online.
