Driver Burnt to Death After Car Catches Fire on ORR at Shamirpet

A man died after his EcoSport car suddenly caught fire while moving on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Shamirpet on Monday. The driver was trapped inside and could not escape.

According to police, the car was travelling on the ORR when it unexpectedly caught fire. The flames spread quickly, completely burning the vehicle within minutes. Other motorists noticed the fire and informed the authorities, but by the time help arrived, the car was already reduced to ashes. The driver’s body was found burnt inside the vehicle, with only skeletal remains left.

Shamirpet Police reached the spot and started an investigation. The cause of the fire is not yet known, and the police are trying to find out whether it was due to a technical issue, overheating, or some other problem. The identity of the victim is also yet to be confirmed.

The incident caused brief traffic disruption and created panic among people travelling on the ORR.
