2 Soldiers Killed, 3 Injured in J&K Terror Clash

Two Soldiers Killed and three Injured in Terrorist Attack in Anantnag

In Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, two soldiers were killed and three others were injured during a clash with terrorists on Saturday. The incident happened in the Ahlan Gagarmandu forest in the Kokernag area.

 

The Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were conducting a search operation based on specific intelligence. During the operation, the terrorists, hiding in the dense forest, opened fire on the approaching forces.

 

In the exchange of gunfire, five soldiers were injured. They were taken to a nearby hospital, but two of them later died. The search for the terrorists continues, with additional reinforcements sent to the area.

 

The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army shared on social media that the operation was based on detailed intelligence. They also reported that two civilians were injured by the terrorists’ stray bullets and have been given medical attention.
