15 Injured as TSRTC Bus Hits Tractor Near Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Fifteen people were injured in a road accident near Renigunta bridge in Thimmapur mandal on Rajiv Rahadari early Tuesday morning.

The incident took place around 5 a.m. when a TSRTC bus from Metpally depot, heading towards Karimnagar from Hyderabad, rammed into a tractor carrying paddy bags. The collision caused the paddy bags to spill onto the road, leading to a traffic jam for some time.

Passengers in the bus and the tractor driver sustained injuries in the crash. Police from the LMD station arrived quickly, moved the injured to the district headquarters hospital, and cleared the road to restore traffic flow.
