Three Arrested for Hunting Wild Boar in Mancherial

Mancherial: Forest officials arrested three men for allegedly hunting a wild boar and consuming its meat in Thotraposhamgudem village of Dandepalli mandal in Mancherial.

According to officials, the arrests were made after the forest department received a tip-off. During a search operation, the accused were caught for hunting the wild animal, cooking its meat, and consuming it.

Tadlapet Forest Range Officer Sushma Rao said the arrested men were identified as Gaddam Bheemaiah, Thatra Bheemaiah, and Kothapalli Posham, all residents of Thotraposhamgudem village.

The three accused were produced before a court and sent to 14 days of judicial remand. Forest officials said further action will be taken as per wildlife protection laws.
