Telangana Congress Begins District-Level Rebuilding Drive

Warangal: The Congress party in Telangana has started a major effort to rebuild its organisation from the ground up. All India Congress Committee (AICC) observer for Warangal and Hanamkonda districts, Navjyothi Patnaik, said the selection of new District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents will be done in a fair and transparent way. Only dedicated and capable leaders with strong support from party workers will be chosen, he said.

Speaking at a meeting with party workers in Hanamkonda, Patnaik explained that this initiative, called Sanghatan Shreyan Abhiyan, aims to strengthen the party and promote democratic leadership. The goal is to ensure leadership opportunities for people from all backgrounds, including SC, ST, OBC, minorities, women, and youth.

Patnaik urged everyone to recommend leaders who are humble, visionary, and committed to public service, saying their suggestions are vital for reviving the party.

Several leaders attended the meeting, including district observers Durgam Bhaskar, Masood, and Renuka; coordinator Adarsh Jaiswal; TPCC general secretaries B. Prabhakar Reddy and E. V. Srinivas Rao; women’s wing president Banka Sarala; and floor leader T. Venkateshwarlu.
