Hyderabad: the Jubilee Hills police have successfully unraveled the mystery surrounding the tragic death of an 11-year-old boy. The incident, which occurred on February 13, led to the arrest of an individual named M Nayak (42) on charges of murdering the child. The police discovered crucial clues linking the suspect to the crime. Shockingly, the suspect took the extreme step when the young victim resisted his inappropriate advances.
The boy, a third-grade student, had gone missing while playing near his home. His lifeless body was later found in an open drainage channel within a GHMC park in the neighborhood of Road No.5, Durga Bhavani Nagar. The police promptly retrieved the body the following day.
Initially, a missing person case was registered, and investigations began under the suspicion of kidnapping. However, the situation took a grim turn when search teams received information about a body in the drainage channel. Subsequently, the case was reclassified as a suspicious death, and after an autopsy, the body was returned to the grieving family.
To the astonishment of law enforcement, it was revealed that the suspect had been closely associating with the boy for the past two weeks. On the fateful day, he lured the child to a secluded location and attempted to engage with him physically. When the child resisted, the suspect allegedly resorted to strangulation, resulting in the tragic loss of a young life.
