Indian Man Shot Dead in Canada: Yuvraj Goyal Murder Investigation Underway

A 28-year-old Indian man, Yuvraj Goyal, was shot dead in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, in what police suspect was a targeted attack.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) responded to reports of a shooting on Friday morning and discovered Goyal deceased at the scene. Goyal, who worked at a local car dealership, reportedly had no criminal history and his family expressed no knowledge of any ties to organized crime. They believe he might have been speaking with his mother in India when the shooting occurred.

Four suspects – Manvir Basram (23), Sahib Basra (20), Harkirat Jhutty (23), and Keilon Francois (20) – have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Goyal’s death.

Although investigators believe the attack targeted Goyal specifically, the motive remains unclear. The RCMP is urging anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to come forward to assist with the investigation.
