Haryana man killed in US after objecting to public urination

A tragic incident has come to light from California, where a 26-year-old Haryana man killed in US after he objected to a person urinating in public.

The victim, Kapil, belonged to Barah Kalan village in Jind district of Haryana. He was the only son of his parents and also had two sisters, one of whom is married. In 2022, Kapil went to the United States through the risky “donkey route,” crossing the jungles of Panama. The journey cost his family nearly ₹45 lakh.

After facing legal proceedings in the US, he was released and started working as a security guard. On Saturday, while performing his duties, Kapil asked a man not to urinate in public. The man got angry and shot him dead.
