Engineering Graduate Ends Life After Failing Job Exams in Hanamkonda

Hanamkonda: A 24-year-old woman from Peddakodepaka village in Shaympet mandal died by suicide after facing repeated failures in competitive exams.

The woman, Ravula Prathyusha, had completed her BTech in 2023 and was preparing for government job exams. According to police, she had become upset after not being able to pass multiple exams despite trying hard.

Her parents, Ramesh and Sunitha, who are daily-wage workers, found her hanging in her room on Saturday morning.

Based on a complaint by her father, the police have registered a case and started an investigation.
