Cyberabad Police Urge WFH Amid Rain Alert

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Suggest Work From Home Due to Heavy Rain

The Cyberabad Police have advised IT and corporate companies in Hyderabad to allow employees to work from home on Tuesday, July 22, due to ongoing heavy rainfall in the city.

In an official advisory, the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) said this step would help ensure the safety of people, avoid traffic problems, and keep emergency services running smoothly.

“There is a warning for heavy rain in the Cyberabad area. Companies are requested to allow work from home on Tuesday. We thank you for your support,” the advisory said.

The continuous rain has already caused waterlogging and slow traffic in many areas. To reduce pressure on the roads and public services, the police are asking people not to travel unless necessary.

Extra police teams have also been deployed in rain-affected areas to handle any emergency situations.
