Hanamkonda, February 4 – In an effort to spread awareness about cancer prevention and treatment, Prathima Foundation will organize a cancer awareness programme at Kaloji Kalakshetram on Tuesday, February 4, in observance of World Cancer Day.
The event aims to emphasize the importance of early detection and effective management in combating cancer. As part of the initiative, the foundation will also host a walkathon, expecting the participation of around 2,000 individuals.
Speaking about the campaign, Harini Boinipally, a founder-member of Prathima Foundation, stated, “Cancer is no longer a death sentence. With advancements in medical science, early detection and timely treatment can save lives.”
The awareness drive seeks to educate the public on preventive measures, the significance of regular health check-ups, and the role of a healthy lifestyle in reducing cancer risks. Experts and medical professionals will be present at the event to provide guidance and answer queries related to cancer care.
With this initiative, Prathima Foundation hopes to inspire the community to take proactive steps towards early detection and improved healthcare outcomes.
