Bengaluru Incident: Family of Four Found Dead in Suspected Murder-Suicide

In Bengaluru’s Singanayakanahalli area, a family of four was found dead in their home on Monday. The family included Avinash (33), his wife Mamatha (30), and their two young daughters, ages five and three.

According to reports, the police believe this tragic event may have been a murder-suicide linked to financial struggles. Avinash, a cab driver from the Kalaburagi district, had been living in Bengaluru with his family for six years.

Initial investigations suggest that Mamatha may have strangled her daughters before taking her own life on Sunday. Avinash was found hanging, indicating he died by suicide afterward. The situation came to light when Avinash’s brother visited the home, broke down the door, and discovered the bodies.

Superintendent of Police C K Baba stated that further investigation is needed to confirm the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.
