Drunken Fight Turns Deadly in Hyderabad’s Borabanda, Man Kills Cousin with Stone
Hyderabad: A late-night drunken fight between two cousins in Borabanda ended in tragedy after one of them was killed in the early hours of Tuesday.
The incident happened in Indira Nagar, where Basavaraj (30) and his cousin Premraj, both residents of the area, reportedly got into an argument while drinking on Monday night at Parvat Nagar.
According to police, the two returned home after the quarrel and went to sleep. However, around early morning, Premraj allegedly woke up, took a stone he had brought earlier, and hit Basavaraj on the head while he was asleep.

Basavaraj suffered serious injuries. His family members found him unconscious and rushed him to a private hospital in Sanathnagar. Unfortunately, doctors declared him dead.
The Borabanda police have registered a case and arrested Premraj. Further investigation is underway to understand what triggered the violent act.
