Hyderabad Sperm Bank Raided, 7 Detained for Violations

Hyderabad: Sperm Bank Raided in Secunderabad, 7 Detained

Hyderabad police raided a private sperm bank in Secunderabad on Saturday over serious irregularities. The clinic was reportedly involved in unlicensed surrogacy procedures and unethical methods of sperm collection.

During the raid, police detained seven people, including staff and operators of the clinic. Officials also seized 16 sperm samples for further testing.

According to reports, the clinic showed pornographic videos to donors during the collection process, which raised legal and ethical concerns. The clinic also claimed it was collecting sperm for surrogacy, but did not have proper medical licenses or documents to prove it.
